How it all started?
In 2013, Enkhbayar came back to homeland Mongolia to start her own clothing brand ENKHEMPIRE. She started with one seamstress and was mostly making made to measure clothing in Mongolia.
But in 2016, when she moved to Paris to continue her studies, she decided to continue her brand with more sustainable, traceable, and degradable fabric-cashmere. Since launching her first Cashmere Wardrobe 1 collection, the brand has been continuously doing what she initially thought through. The aim was to avoid contributing global fashion fabric pollution by producing only for 2 seasons per year and to focus on the highest quality products that can be maintained and used over many years.
Today the brand is still operating a very small scale with 2 main employees in the atelier with local small factories.
